3. Grievance Officer (India)
India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 each ask us to name a person who handles complaints. It is the same person for all three.

- We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 7 days.
- A complaint that content on Popcue is unlawful is acted on within 36 hours.
- A complaint that content shows someone in a sexual or intimate way without their consent, or impersonates them, is acted on within 2 hours.
- If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days. For a consumer complaint, the National Consumer Helpline is on 1915. For a complaint about your personal data, you can go to the Data Protection Board of India once you have used this route.
4. Where Popcue is offered
Popcue is offered only in India for now. It is not offered in the European Union or the United Kingdom, so no representative is appointed there under the GDPR (Art. 27), the UK GDPR (Art. 27) or the Digital Services Act (Art. 13). If that changes, this section will name them before Popcue is offered there.
Anyone, anywhere, can write to hello@popcue.online, in English, and report content they believe is illegal with the notice form.
5. Copyright notices
We have not designated an agent under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(2)). Send copyright notices through the notice form (choose “Copyright notice”) or to the Grievance Officer. Both reach the same queue.
